Every 22 March, Molecor celebrates World Water Day, an event that highlights the importance of this essential resource to life on our planet. On this day, we reflect on the challenges we're facing in water management and we renew our commitment to the conservation and sustainable use of this necessary resource; it is the basis of life and our planet's lifeblood.
This year's slogan, “Water for Peace”, emphasises the importance of water's role in promoting harmony and preventing conflicts. The initiative, which has been celebrated since 1992 and is backed by the United Nations (UN), aims to raise awareness of the global water crisis and the problem faced by millions of people who do not have access to drinking water.
One of the United Nations' measures is to support Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 6: clean water and sanitation for all by 2030. Given the nature of our company and its products, the main SDG for Molecor is also number 6, for which reason we are committed to “Ensuring the availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all” by 2030.
This day is particularly significant at Molecor since our goal is to improve people's quality of life, wherever they are in the world, making water accessible to them by helping to develop more efficient, sustainable networks.
As manufacturers of pipes, manholes, fittings and special parts for water, we recognise this value and strive to improve and promote practices that ensure water availability and quality for current and future generations.
