Modernization of the irrigation facilities and construction of storage for the irrigation community "Los Charcones" placed in the municipality of Torres (Jaén).
In this project more than 11,700 m of TOM® PVC-O pipes of 200 and 250 mm diameter in PN12.5, 16 and 25 bar were installed.
This action consists in the continuation of the main pipe already installed from the dam of Rialb in Oliana (Lleida), to the crossing of the C-14 road with the Segre river, along with the construction of a pumping station and the installation of a impulsion pipe in that pumping.
This allowed to launch the first compensating irrigations by giving continuity to the works executed in the Midspan Oliana Dam and connect the secondary or distribution network.
The performance of this important project for the modernization of irrigation systems financed by a World Bank loan to the government of Morocco, was driven by the administration of the Rural Engineering to improve the service of large-scale irrigation (under the Ministry of Agriculture) located in Rabat. The work was carried out by the Regional Office of Agricultural Development of Haouz (ORMVA: one of the nine regional irrigation organizations in Morocco).
In the city of Petronia, Gauteng province, in 2014 were installed around 6,500 m of TOM pipes of DN 400mm and PN12,5 bar pressure for the creation of a drinking water supply network in the same town.
In the town of Ladysmith, KwaZulu-Natal province, were installed in 2014 around 20,000m of TOM® pipes DN630 mm at PN12.5, 16 and 25 bar pressure for the creation of a water supply network in the town.
The Central Board of Water and Sanitation of the State as a decentralized public agency of the Government of the State of Chihuahua, within the Program of Water Supply and Sewerage in the Urban Areas 2014 Plan, through its Committee of Acquisitions, Leasing and Services, tendered the work of pipes supply for treated water, in the city of Chihuahua, Juarez.
In this project were installed more than 1,000 m TOM® PVC-O pipes DN500 mm at PN 16.
Improvement of supply to the municipality of Zarzalejo by building a new 2,000 m3 capacity reservoir in the Zarzalejo urban center to increase the supply guarantee and the connecting pipe between the two Zarzalejo reservoirs.
In the town of Matarani, Arequipa, the installation of more than 4,400 m of TOM pipes in diameters 160 and 200 mm in PN16 bar has been carried out.
Construction of the reclaimed water supply network in Valdemoro (Madrid). The works include the construction of two deposits of 1,500 and 2,000 cubic meters of capacity, three pumping groups and 46 kilometers of pipes to transport the reclaimed water to the public green areas of the town. The General System of Arroyo Culebro allows providing reclaimed water to seven municipalities in the south like Alcorcon, Fuenlabrada, Getafe, Humanes de Madrid, Leganes, Parla and Pinto.
This was a project to improve the irrigation infrastructure of the Bajo Almanzora Irrigators Community consisting in the replacement of three lines by a larger one of 630mm diameter in PVC-O material, allowing in this way the transport of water for supply and for the irrigation of the region.
The Bajo Almanzora region has an area of 1,148 km2. The Municipality of Huercal Overa is the one with the largest surface area, 318 km2, with a population of 14,672 inhabitants.
