Smagua is back, the major technology exhibition for the water and environmental industries and, as in years past, Molecor will be taking part, presenting important innovations.

With a history spanning almost half a century, Smagua is being held for the 26th time on 7, 8 and 9 March, in Zaragoza. An unmissable event that sets the standard, for an international conference that brings together numerous leading companies in the water, irrigation and environmental industries, in addition to professionals who want to find out about the latest technologies, equipment and systems for water resource management and applications.

As well as introducing the latest innovations in the supply, storage, treatment and conveyance of water, Smagua will be broadening its offering by including the vital environmental sector through its Environmental Exhibition (SMA), offering solutions for water treatment and management, energy recovery, environmental pollution and contaminated soil remediation.

One of the characteristic features of Smagua throughout its history has been its outstanding programme of technical conferences, which serve to analyse some of the key issues of today that will play an important role in the future of the water sector. “Future challenges for quality and wastewater management and the effect on the receiving environment”, "Digitisation of water by Spanish river basin organisations” , “Flood risk management in municipalities” and "Strategic Projects for Economic Recovery and Transformation (PERTE) for water: the challenge of digitisation in urban water use" are some of the topics that are going to be dissected by industry experts.

As a Spanish company that specialises in developing molecular orientation technology applied to pressurised water pipes, Molecor will be one of the key exhibitors in attendance. Its stand will be in hall 4 – Stand D-E 23-28. This year, it will be presenting the latest technological and product innovations.

As part of its ongoing commitment to research and development, at this event Molecor will be presenting the new DN 1200 mm PVC-O pipe, the one with the largest diameter in the world made from this material. This pipe, which has a diameter of 1,200 mm, is the perfect solution for pressurised water conveyance. The new DN1200 represents a further step forward on the path to water efficiency, as it will enable more intelligent management of water resources that have hitherto been conveyed in systems made of other materials.

With this new diameter, Molecor has been given the “Technical Innovation” award in the Contest for Technological Improvements and Innovations that is held at the trade fair every year. An award that highlights the value of the products developed by companies in the sector that invest in R+D+I, selecting the ones that stand out for their technological contribution, innovation, and results in meeting market needs.

Molecor will also be presenting a tool that is going to revolutionise water conveyance throughout the world, geoTOM®, an application that makes it possible to geolocate the products that make up the pipeline networks in which its tubes and fittings are installed, thus improving its offering with an innovative service for all of its customers.

Molecor will also be taking part in the conference entitled “Complete large diameter PVC-O solutions” on 7 March at 13:30, in hall 9.
