It that way, the company has modified the classic socket shape, enlarging the bell lip surface section to ensure a safest installation and a greater guarantee. It is worth to mention, that the socket side it is the most important part of the pipe. With a quite complex geometry and where the concentration of strains is higher, mainly of axial direction.  Furthermore, due to its higher dimensions compared to the rest of the pipe, the socket side is more exposed to impacts and scratches during the installation.

In this sense, Molecor^® has researched all the aspects focused on a good working -behavior of the rubber ring socket joints, in order to design the best socket system for PVC-O Pipes. For this reason, this design considers not only the socket standard mechanic and geometric parameters but also the orientation process, commonly dismissed. This is the most important factor for the design of a correct working- behavior  PVC-O Pipe System .

The difference with the rest of the current systems is that Molecor^® produces the socket at the same time that the rest of the pipe which assures the optimum conditions for molecular orientation.  In addition to this stable and simultaneous process, this socket system allows to obtain different orientation degrees in the required sections, or even a special wall thickness distribution.
