Molecor achieves another milestone in its career as a world leader in technology and manufacturing of PVC-O pipes.

The Minister of Agriculture, Food and Environment Ms. Isabel García Tejerina, has inaugurated today the new factory of TOM© PVC-O Pipes of the Spanish company Molecor, in the town of Loeches.

The Minister Isabel García Tejerina has visited the manufacturing process of the TOM©  Pipes, which stand out for their commitment to the environment, supported by four principles: energy efficiency (the innovative molecular orientation process can reduce the consumption of energy and raw materials), better environmental footprint (CO2 emissions reduction and lower power consumption for long life), resource optimization and full recyclability of the product.

The promotor Partners of Molecor, Ignacio Muñoz, Antonio Arena, and Jose Manuel Romero, wished to emphasize the company's commitment to the environment and employment: "This new facility has allowed us to double our production capacity to improve our service at level world. We have chosen this location, Loeches, for its excellent location, communications network and we hope that in the coming years, we continue growing in sales, employment and expanding our production capacity and facilities."

Molecor is a Spanish company founded in 2006, conceived and comprehensively dedicated to technology development and to the manufacturing of PVC-O pipes, field in which is a global leader, with products exported to five continents. The company has managed to double its profits in the first half of the year, compared to 2013, exports have accounted for 90% of turnover and 58% of its sales have been outside the European Union, with which a great growth worldwide has taken place.

The activities of the company are developed in two lines of business: Molecor Tech, a R & D center dedicated to the development and sale of machinery and technology and Molecor Canalizaciones, where TOM© PVC-O pipes are produced. Both production facilities are located in the Community of Madrid.

The TOM© pipe is manufactured in a wide range of nominal pressures (12.5, 16, 20 and 25 bars) and diameters (from 90 to 630mm). Molecor has been the first company in the world to manufacture DN500 and DN630mm in this material and, soon, will mark a new milestone by manufacturing the world's largest diameter, 800mm.

Molecor has planned investments of 4.5 million euros to increase its production capacity and to develop new R & D proyects, aiming for a sustainable business model, creating employment and representing Spain in the World.
